I have very high standards and needed my outdoor furniture cushions updated. I went to a couple upscale places in my hometown of Lafayette but could tell these storefronts only added another layer of cost as they were sending the work to someone else. What I needed was to go a shop and talk to a person who knows how to do the work, discuss various options and see what the result would look like (i.e., do a prototype) before I changed all my cushions. This turned out to be a great approach because Chuck actually does the work! He did the prototype and made it better than the original. He was extremely helpful and made my cushions better than new. And he loves what he does. And when someone loves their craft...it shows in the result. And another thing...AFFORDABLE! To give an accurate review, I waited a few months to see how my cushions would hold up. They are terrific. During recent parties, my friends compliment me on how comfortable my cushions are...and these are kept outside in the heat/sprinklers, not kept inside. My cushions are as good as the day I got them back from Howards. Importantly, the front office manager is diligent too. She is a great communicator and kept me in the loop on all levels. Very personable. I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Howards. I wish I could give them higher than 5 stars.

Chuck went above and beyond to problem solve a design issue on my dining chairs, fixed them and then beautifully re upholstered them. He also transformed my outdoor cushions with attention to detail, size, comfort, and style while repurposing the insides into the new cushions, being environmentally conscious. Chuck and Janine communicated well, went above and beyond to work within my time lines, and provided outstanding customer service. They stand behind their work! Highly recommend.

Professional, detail oriented, trustworthy and a joy to work with. Brought in my fraying patio cushions to be reupholstered. Jannine has a great design sense and eye for color. Chuck repaired my cushions beautifully and in record time. I will definitely use them for all of my future upholstering/reupholstering needs.

My experience began with a phone call which was very kind and positive. When I arrived Jannine and Chuck greeted me and assisted me with picking patterns for my chairs. Both Chuck and Jannine are great to work with. I had the inside of 2 cushions replaced and so happy with the new foam. One cushion needed major work as it was 2 inches to long for chair and that was fixed too. Both the couch and chair were never comfortable even when new and now they are AWESOME. All I can say is amazing! Chuck is a true artist. I had 2 chairs re-done in a very busy geometric fabric and they are absolute twins! Not only is the work perfection, they cradle you in comfort.
